Fast Company - "Brand journey with human focus"

How have we Become the “Most Valuable Informatics Brand of Turkey”?

2020 is a unique year for the entire world.

It is a year we, on the one hand, questioned our knowledge in terms of health-human life, and we rethought everything we considered is ordinary in the individual-social-economic axis, on the other hand; in short, it was an "extraordinary" year...

Undoubtedly, the word “digital” is one of the terms which meaning, definition, and weight in life have changed the most in this special period when the routine has been broken more than ever.

Digital transformation technologies, which were considered a future trend until recently, are now a basic need like water and food in all its inclusiveness.

In other words, digital transformation now has a meaning at the very center of life as much as “seeing the grandchild who has been away during the pandemic quarantine”.

At such an important crossroads, for companies like us whose business is technology, every step taken, every service provided, and every product offered is almost a social responsibility, far beyond a commercial activity.

At KoçSistem, the year 2020 has another meaning that increases this responsibility many times over. Our company, which was founded in 1945, is 75 years old this year.

This 75-year period has brought us to today's experience with our many leading-sector customers, which have an important contribution to the development of our country, and whose meaning has been moved to a different dimension due to the periodic reasons I have just listed…

This period of intersection, in which we celebrated our 75th anniversary, while we work with all our strength to ensure that our customers can fully perform their activities under challenging conditions, has been crowned with extremely important development for us and perhaps added a whole new meaning to our year.

We were proud of being ranked 41st as the "Turkey's Most Valuable Informatics Brand" on the list of “Turkey's 100 Most Valuable Brands”, announced by the international brand valuation organization BrandFinance.

This result has motivated and encouraged the entire KoçSistem family to do better as it represents confirmation of the value we add to the end consumer -our people, and not just our brand name which is worth $90 million.

Being included in this list has made us think that we have been rewarded for our sector/customer-oriented strategic plan, our investments in future trends such as advanced analytics and the internet of things with our KoçDigital brand, our role in the entrepreneurship ecosystem with our TechSquare platform, and our project Family Hour, which aims to prevent screen addiction and supports healthy technology use with its corporate citizenship vision and our marketing approach that always puts people at its core.

Marketing guru Bryan Kramer, in his groundbreaking proposition that I think is very important, says, “There is no such thing as B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to customer). There is only H2H (human to human) approach. He states that closeness with the customer by establishing good human relations is the essence of all marketing.

In this respect, we are also happy to see that our route was confirmed as an H2H brand, which is placed in the top 50 rankings of BrandFinance.

Of course, digital transformation is still a never-ending journey on which we seek new ways. As KoçSistem family, we embarked on this journey with all our stakeholders, intending to become a brand that represents our country in international markets and continue to strengthen the digital transformation breakthrough of Turkey as the regional leader with our high value-added product solutions!
