We marked the Capital500 Summit and Award Ceremony, of which we are the main sponsor, with the opening speech of our General Manager Mehmet Ali Akarca and the "KoçSistem Digitalization Special Award".
Capital 500 Award Ceremony and Summit, which was organized for the 25th time this year by Capital and Economist Magazines, and where awards were given to the companies that ranked in the results of the Capital500 Research, was held for the 4th time under the main sponsorship of KoçSistem. Metro Turkey won the KoçSistem Digitalization Special Award, which was given for the second time this year in the physically held event.
Making the opening speech of the Award Ceremony, KoçSistem General Manager Mehmet Ali Akarca underlined that we are trying to heal the wounds of the earthquakes that deeply affected our 10 provinces and all of Turkey together; “Each individual of the society; shows great solidarity with all its institutions in the sense of unity and solidarity. This solidarity will continue until each of our citizens affected by the earthquake regains a healthy life. We can overcome this process with the use of advanced technology solutions, especially artificial intelligence, big data and advanced analytics.”
In the "Leaders' Future Vision" panel held as part of the event, Koton CEO Bülent Sabuncu, Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin, Akkök Holding Executive Board Member and Akkim Kimya General Manager Onur Kipri, Metro Turkey CEO Sinem Türung, Netlog Logistics Group Board of Directors Chairman Şahap Çak made evaluations as speakers.
As part of the Award Ceremony, Metro Turkey was deemed worthy of the “KoçSistem Digitalization Special Award” with its technology investments; Sinem Türung, CEO of Metro Turkey, received the award.
